Meet The Newest Machete Creative Team Members

Last year we expanded our toolset and certifications as a company and this year we’ve expanded our team! Meet Nasif Salaam and Gelson Kampandira…

Nasif is Machete Creative’s new digital designer! With 13 years in the industry its safe to say Nasif is an expert in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, WordPress and PS4 (specializing in Titanfall II). Working with the likes of Musica, Clicks and UCT, Nasif has shown his passion for learning and creating.

“Professionally, I would say I’m known for meeting and exceeding client expectations, as well as a very clean and neat design style. Now I spend more time on designing websites and have become deeply interested in UI. I love interpreting clients’ ideas and creating a visual solution, and I hope to be remembered as someone who helps others. I’m a family man, and gaming in my spare time, and I probably couldn’t live without my mountain bike!” – Nasif.

Next up we have Gelson, our very own videographer! Gelson specialities lie in Premier Pro, Photoshop, Cinema 4D, After Effects and Gardening! With 9 years industry experience under his belt, Gelson has become known for his video editing techniques and graphic design skill for clients such as Spirit Revelation Church, Symphony Digital and Ripple Digital, and in 2011 he was awarded “Best Upcoming Music Video Director” at the Malawi UMP Awards.

“The thing I enjoy most about working in the video and graphic design world is learning new things and learning to be confident in my own judgment and decisions, as well as identifying problems and finding the best way to solve them for my clients.”
